The poetry of music on shuffle #2

A new installment of my life poetry, as it is written by my playlist on shuffle. More, here.

I’ll be your red-cheeked lover
And your man of regret
There’ll be no desert too dry
And no ocean too wet

I want you by my side
So that I never feel alone again
They’ve always been so kind
But now they’ve brought you away from here

She’ll lie and steal and cheat
And beg you from her knees
Make you thinks she means it this time
She’ll tear a hole in you, the one you can’t repair
But I still love her, I don’t really care

Do I attract you?
Do I repulse you with my queasy smile?
Am I too dirty?
Am I too flirty?
Do I like what you like?

I’m trying, trying to tell you
All that I can in a sweet and velvet tongue
But no words ever could sell you
Sell you on me after all that I have done
